At a time when many artists like Kandinsky, Picasso, Matisse questioned the postulates and dogmas of academic painting, Hilma af Klint participated in the pictorial transformations of modern art by inventing her unique and original way of expressing her own existential questions. Well before the time, she was pioneer of abstract art, turning to spirituality to seek inspiration.
This workshop begins with a practice of mindfulness. Then, using the artwork of Hilma af Klint as a launching pad, you are invited to create your own art in a meditative, using pastels, inks and watercolours.
